I totally agree, would give negative stars if possible. Even though Im over 100 miles from Chicago Im in the stupid blackout area and have no way to watch the games. Now I cant even get timely updates through an app. NHL app is awful, useless.

I had the old blackhawks app for a couple years and loved it when it said I had to update a few months ago it turned into the NHL app and no blackhawks homepage, its tough to navigate and I dont like it, bring the old app!!!

Cant anything more than the other reviewers below me did. Loved the app last season, this year with the NHL take-over -- it stinks.

What happened here?! I want Blackhawks content, not all this other BS. Blackhawks fans, delete this, and contact the organization to let them know that you want the focused app back.

There is literally no point for this app. This app is the very essence of irrelevant. On my iPad I used to get the Chicago Blackhawks when I clicked on the app. Now some suit has decided that when I click on a "Chicago Blackhawks" app I should get the nhl. As usual suit, youre wrong, I really wanted the Chicago Blackhawks, so of course the app will now be gone. Too bad we cant make suits go away this easy.

This app used to be good until the NHL app over took it. It is not user friendly and the notifications are too much. I downloaded the Blackhawks app for a reason and now its over taken by everything NHL. If I want other news Ill look for it, we dont need to be spoon fed. Im disappointment in the changes that was once a great product....

Let me add my disappointment, I see only disappointed fans, but still no changes to solve problems with app. Blackhawks staff has become very arrogant and unresponsive. Thats what happens when IT staff dont know what theyre doing. Say, is your last name Wertz?

Ive had the app for over two years and it served its purpose. Not anymore. The news segment has been replaced by bh tv. Its a mobile app on mobile phone for god sake. One star is generous but its the only option. Ill keep it to see the new update but not holding my breath. See other reviews for more details on this new update failures.

Every time I open the app I have to decline the option to receive news notifications. The news and video layout is awful

Please ditch this update! Im tired of being asked if I want to enable notifications every time I open the app. I dont want them, stop asking!!! Old look was much more pleasing, do NOT like the new white background. Current game stats should be bigger on the screen, not just crunched to the top.

Old app was great. It is annoying to be asked to enable push notifications every single time I open this. Hard to navigate. The radio link is not for Weideman and Murray--it is for NHL announcers that are awful. No sense in using this. Downloaded a radio app to hear the game when I cant watch.

Should be called Blackhawks Twitter feed app. Its like hide and seek when it comes to finding what you want on it. Unless of course you want Twitter garbage. White background is horrible. Layout is garbage. Shouldnt have changed it. Lose the Twitter please. Im not 17, dont need it.

Forget the aesthetics, an update implies improvement, but it is not guaranteed and definitely not an improvement in this case. This version is sloooooowwww.

Went from daily use to rarely opened after the last update.

Latest update is horrendous. The layout and visuals are a huge step backwards. In addition, EVERYTIME I open the app it harasses me to enable notifications. Finally, there are now banner ads at the bottom of the page. Cmon NHL and Blackhawks - this is garbage, pleas fix it.

For the life of me, I will never understand why an app developer insists on destroying the app they created with unnecessary updates. I no longer use the Blackhawks app to check stats or scoring because the information is never updated in a timely manner. The NHL app is a far superior source for in game scoring updates and stats. If its not broke, dont fix it!!!

Bring back the old app! This new version is terrible!

The old app was much better. I like to read about the Hawks. I do not like to watch videos; or Twitter or Instagram. Please bring back the old app.

This update is terrible! I dont care about the twitter feed. The score is rarely up to date. And there is no way to quickly get to the radio broadcast like there was before.

Graphically terrible compared to before. Like all the other reviews, STOP ASKING ME ABOUT GEOLOCATION NOTIFICATIONS EACH TIME IN OPEN THE APP!!!! I am seriously considering uninstalling, only reason not to is to hold out a small bit of hope they will listen and correct this atrocity of an app.
