Chicago Blackhawks App Reviews

The only reason I ranked it one star is because negative and zero stars are not allowed. While I understand the NHLs desire to provide one experience no matter the team, the fact that we as consumers loose functionality and the connection to own teams shows we are the losers. Gone is the ability to see game photos, see a single screen roster, or have access to information import to me as a fan.

I dont have or want the NHL app. I want the old Blackhawks app back.

This was my favorite app to follow the Hawks. Now it just launches the NHL app. No reason to have this app on my phone. Ill go back to using ESPN.

Whoever approved the Chicago Blackhawks app to be embedded in the nhl app should lose their job! You took my favorite app and ruined it! I hope this gets reversed asap!

This move to the NHL app is horrible. Bring back the old app which was great!

This isnt an app, it just prompts you to download the BS NHL app...such a joke. Luckily I have the older version still on my iPad; a pain not to have it fully mobile on my phone though :/

I hate the way the app takes me directly to the NHL app. I cannot access anything in the Blackhawks app now!!

Used to be a great app in previous years. This year the NHL highjacked it. What once felt like a Chicago Blackhawks personal app is now Corporate crap.

I think this is an ok. It tells you games scores. Could have been better.

Crap. Just crap. I have to dl the NHL app and go through hoops to find my HAWKS... Ive had iTunes for years and this is my first review Ive ever done. Go back to the old app. I can just tune in on the radio to listen live or head to my local bar to watch (I dont have cable). This app is garbage.

It would be one thing if it was an independent "portal" to the NHL app content. But you actually have to ALSO DOWNLOAD THE NHL APP to use it! Stupid, useless gutting of what was a great TEAM app for THIS TEAMS FANS.

This is really poor, it went from very useful to useless! You cant drill down on details and it only gives you score, box score, and goal scorers. Old app was SO much better!!!!

The NHL hijacked the Blackhawks app and now it is worthless. Do not waste your time. I deleted the app from all my devices. I had to rate with one star since zero stars was not allowed

I have to agree with the negative reviews. If I could give zero stars I would. NHL took a great team app and turned it to garbage with the NHL App. I also subscribe to the monthly service for out of market games and this also doesnt work very well. Im glad I did the monthly as a trial because now when I cancel Ill be much less out of pocket. NHL spend the money and do it right. Youre hurting yourself with your most avid fan base. Its idiocy, arrogance or both.

Hate the updates and forced connection to the NHL app. Odd that my iPhone app works differently than the iPad app. CHANGE IT BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS!

This version has disrupted my ability to easily access content, and now Im redirected to it if I try accessing through safari, too. Not happy - I dont want to search for my team or information I want, like the pregame team reports, instead of WATCHING the game. Ugh

So it looks like the NHL app isnt gettin enough love, cause now were forced to download their app to get Blackhawks info. Nuttin like gettin bent over when all we wanted was to shake hands. Ill get my info elsewhere.
