I am extremely disappointed in the fact that the Blackhawks app doesnt truly exist anymore. The old app was easy to navigate and provided many features that were Blackhawks-specific. Now, I have to weed through mountains of fluff before I get to anything Blackhawks specific. And dont get me started on the lackluster game notifications. If I wanted general NHL info, I would open the NHL app, not the Blackhawks app. Bring back the "real" Chicago Blackhawks app. I will be using the CSN or CBS Sports apps (and even ESPN) long before I ever consider using the NHL app to follow my team. Kudos to you, NHL, for screwing this one up! If I could give you zero or negative stars for this, I would!

This is a terrible update. Give us the Blackhawks app back. If we want to see the entire NHL, we can go to the NHL app. Let the choice be ours, not yours. Give us the Blackhawks app back.

This used to be a great app and then the NHL got their hands on it. I no longer get in-game updates. So, I have now deleted this app...and the NHL app.

Since they forced the integration of the NHL app into the Chicago Blackhawks app - it is horrible. The summary page is not accurate in real time. The app used to be easy to use and find info, now, it is useless!

They ruined this app for fans of the Blackhawks....what a shame

After downloading the new app, I found out it didnt work without downloading the NHL app. Why do I need the NHL app? We had an app that was awesome and now it is useless.

This app was great for accessing quick information about the Blackhawks without much trouble now you are forced to use the NHL app which is complete trash bring back the old app

If I wanted the NHL app I would have downloaded that one.

The former Blackhawks only app gave us lots of info - text and videos. This new mess, through the NHL app, gives us next to nothing. Skimpy at best. Navigation is clumsy, current information is often unavailable. What were they thinking?

Just remove the app from the App Store Blackhawks. No reason to keep the app in store anymore. Dont even bother installing.

This is terrible not even an app when you launch. It says to download the NHL app and thats the only way you can use it why is this even in App Store .

The old app was awesome. Now that its the NHL app with a Hawks logo its brutal. Poor layout and the notifications barely work. Under the old app the notifications were great. The Hawks probably didnt have a choice with the NHL app but its hard to believe they could have ruined all of the valuable things the old app had in a simple and great layout.

Liked how everything was set up before the new update. I hate this app.

The "old" Blackhawks app no longer exists and the requirement to use the NHL app stinks. The NHL app is cumbersome and not user friendly. Bring back the old app.

App is completely useless for me. Constantly crashes when trying to choose my favorite team....rendering this app (which isnt even an app but a gateway to that horrid NHL app) useless. iPhone 7+ running iOS 10.1. PLEASE fix this or at least get on NHL to fix it. It has been over a month now with NO update whatsoever. Horrible

did you clowns do to a perfectly good app!??? And its not as if the NHL app is worth two craps, so getting that solves ZERO. What a waste. Utter and abject failure, NHL. Like everything Bettman is part of, if it wasnt for fans buying tickets the league would have folded under him decades ago.

Once again, NHL execs have ruined a good thing. This once-great app is now nothing more than a gateway to the useless NHL app, which itself is just a vehicle for the league to push you to spend $24.99 a month. Another money-grab by Gary Bettman and his minions at the expense of the game and its fans.

Need a zero stars for this one. Old app was fantastic and this one is a grade school project. Or is that too much credit?
